We've heard you asking for clearer ways to visualise and share insights from Wordnerds. We've also noticed some of you feeling a bit overwhelmed by Power BI (we get it, it can seem like a lot at first).

That's exactly why we've created this guide. No assumptions, no jargon, just clear explanations of how to get the most from your Wordnerds Power BI dashboards.

 

 

What is Power BI?

Power BI is Microsoft's business analytics tool that turns your data into visual insights. Think of it as Excel's clever cousin who went to design school.

It's the tool your leadership probably uses for performance tracking and key business metrics, and now it's bringing that same power to your customer feedback.

Why Power BI for Wordnerds?

By bringing your Wordnerds insights into Power BI, we're:

Your First Five Minutes in your Wordnerds Power BI Dashboard

  1. Open your dashboard - Click the Wordnerds dashboard from your Power BI home or the file shared with you
  2. Start with the Home page - Get oriented with the overview
  3. Try clicking something - Click any bar or segment to see interactive filtering in action
  4. Change the date range - Use the date filter to focus on last month, or any other date range!

💡 Remember, your Power BI Dashboard is acting as the visual-arm of your Wordnerds project. So, the themes in Power BI are the themes you created in Wordnerds, your Frameworks are your Wordnerds Frameworks, and so on.
