How to export your Wordnerds data
Once you've found an amazing insight, you'll no doubt want to share it with your team or the relevant stakeholders. We offer integrations with reporting platforms through our data warehouse, Redshift but for a quick export of your data, you can use functionality in the platform.
1.Exporting verbatim
From your 'explore' page, navigate to 'inbox'. Select the filters you want to apply, whether that's just looking at the verbatim from a particular theme or category for example. Then hit the 'export' button in the top right of the screen. It looks like this:
You'll be asked to give your export a name. When your data is ready, you'll see the message 'download ready' on the bottom of the screen:
Note: the export will download in csv format and the columns you get will depend on what has been uploaded but will likely look something like this:
2. Exporting your data grouped by themes/topics
The best place to do this is trending but it is possible to export this from a visualisation too. As before, navigate to 'trending' and select your filters. Above your trending table you will see an export function in the top right:
With themes, you have the option of exporting the 'posts' or 'table'. The 'table' export is a direct export of the data included in your trending table view on screen and looks like this:
If you select 'posts' your export will include the actual verbatim and look something like this:
Another way to get an export of your data grouped by theme is to create a visualisation with the inputs and filters you require in My Reports. An easy way to do this is to create a league table or bar chart as below. You can choose brands, themes or theme categories as your 'input' (the bars you want to visualise). Then select the download icon from the top right to export. Again, you'll get a yellow message in the bottom of your screen to tell you, your download is ready. click on that to download your file.
From a league table, the export will give you a breakdown of sentiment groups and look like the below:
From a bar chart you'll only get a total sentiment score:
From a line graph you will get a breakdown of data over time depending on the intervals you've selected in your graph:
3. Exporting visuals
To use any of the visuals in the platform, the easiest way is to use a screen shot or snipping tool but you can export a full report in 'My reports' as a pdf to share more easily. This is done by navigating to 'My reports', selecting the report you want from the drop down menu and using the yellow icons in the top right to export:
